URPoint Details
A busy little market town surrounded by prehistoric burial mounds and pastoral countryside, set in the upper valley of the Alyn.
The High Street is picturesque and the 15th century Perpendicular parish church has a good roof, old glass and quaint animal friezes.
To the west are the Clwydian Hills with Moel Fammau rising to 1,820ft.
The ruined monument on the summit was erected to commemorate the Jubilee of George III.
