Mishnish Loch is located alongside the B8073 road in the Mishnish, 2½ miles (4 km) southwest of Tobermory, and comprise Loch Carnain an Amais, Loch Meadhoin and Loch Peallach, which have become linked when their level was raised to form a reservoir. Together, the lochs support rare aquatic plants of conservation importance and are fished for wild brown trout.
