Milton's Cottage - Chalfont St Giles

Open daily (except Mondays from March to October), 10am-1pm & 2-6pm. Sunday open 2-6pm. Closed January, February, November & December. Two museum rooms and an attractive cottage garden. Free car park. No toilet facilities. Admission charge. Wheelchair access can be provided if you contact us in advance of your visit, and assistance dogs are welcome throughout the museum

The cottage became home to the blind poet when he fled from London in 1665 to escape the Plague, and where he wrote much of "Paradise Lost".
