Millington Wood - Pocklington

Car parking and picnicking facilities are available at the entrance to the wood. The wood is open at all times, free of charge and is readily accessible to the disabled (main path only).

A local nature reserve situated in Millington Pastures, a specially protected dry chalk valley system famous for its abundant wild flowers.
The wood nestles in a steep-sided valley and provides a quiet place with a feeling of solitude in beautiful surroundings.
Much favoured by naturalists, the wildlife and abundant plants and flowers can be enjoyed by everyone from the network of footpaths.
