URPoint Details
Near Mey to the northwest is Castle Mey, formerly Barrogil Castle dated 1606 and belonged to the late Queen Mother.
To the north of Mey, is St John’s Point and the reef known as the ‘Merry Men of Mey’ overlooking the Pentland Firth with Stroma Island off-shore beyond the Inner Sound.
