URPoint Details
A beautifully sited village row of red-brick and yellow-stone houses lead down long sloping fields to the chalk downs.
The church is one of the smallest churches in the county was rebuilt in the 19th century, but the tower dates from the 15th century.
It has a good roof, some exceptional stained glass and a stunning Anglo-Saxon font carved with wrestling animals all upside down (a notice suggests that the reason is that it was once part of a cross).
