URPoint Details
An ancient village of whitewashed buildings set in wooded hills in the Vale of Meifod, by the River Vyrnwy.
The restored church shelters a carved pre-Norman gravestone, and the windows have 19th century glass depicting coats of Arms, and a 13th century embattled tower.
Across the river stands the fine 19th century house of Pen-y-lon.
