Gardens round a 15th century castle with daffodils, rhododendrons and 1000 year old yews, a doubled wall kitchen garden, 16th century rose garden and a 19th century flower parterre.

There is a Gothic courtyard with pagoda-roofed dovecot featured in the film ‘Rob Roy’. There are topiary trees and a 16th century physic garden with astrological garden.
