URPoint Details
The tallest working windmill in Britain (seven floors). See first hand the traditional stone-grinding process of making flour. Built in 1819 and restored to working order in 1988, the windmill works commercially, milling daily when the wind blows. In the mill shop a variety of stone-ground organic flours, oat products and unusual gifts can be purchased.
