East of Aylesbury and close to the Hertfordshire border, Marsworth is a canal village at the junction of the Aylesbury Arm with the 'main line' of the Grand Union Canal.
All around is a 'canalscape' of locks and bridges, canal craft and canal-side pubs.
The parish church, heavily restored in the 1880's, has several elaborate monuments and brasses.
