A magnificent Thames-side Palladian villa built 1724-29 for Henrietta Howard, Duchess of Suffolk and set in 66 acres of parkland.
The Great Room has lavish gilded decoration and the architectural paintings by Panini.
The house also has an important collection of early Georgian furniture, the Lazenby Bequest Chinoiserie collection and an 18th century lacquer screen.
