URPoint Details
A spectacular pass rising to 1,116ft the summit being the border between Ross and Inverness links the shores of Loch Duich with the little remote village of Glenelg on the narrow strait separating the mainland from Skye.
The climb is steep (1 in 6) and winding with hairpin bends and the surface is poor.
From the summit, Loch Duich is spectacular and backed by the famous Five Sisters of Kintail.
This is a delight to photographers who claim they never get a bad 'shot'.
