URPoint Details
A mile long lane to the east, then a half-mile footpath leads to the staggering cliffs of Gordale Scar, where waterfalls plunge down into a precipitous. After 1ΒΌ mile it crosses a stream close to Malham Tarn, then turns south along the stream into a dry valley which opens out on to shimmering acres of water-eroded limestone at the top of Malham Cove. The easiest descent is down the west side of the cove.
