URPoint Details
Macclesfield Christ Church, (Churches Conservation Trust), was built in 1775-6 by Charles Roe who was prominent in the development of the silk industry and whose monument in the chancel was by John Bacon. The church is an interesting brick building with cast-iron columns supporting the galleries.
