Sir Walter Jenner created a wonderful Elizabethan style garden with clipped yew hedges dividing areas of the garden and there are some lovely colourful herbaceous borders with urns. A raised walk overlooking an orchard of crab apples, medlars and quinces. A yew hedges alley leads to the formal pool complete with a statue of Flora and Diana. The border along the south front is stocked with species contemporary with Niewe Herball.
