Hidden away in a valley sits a pretty little village with a 17th century manor house, an ancient timber-framed farm house and some attractive almshouses and form a quadrangle founded in 1611.
The church is in the Early English style, except for the clerestory which is Perpendicular and the pulpit is Jacobean.
