URPoint Details
One of Devon's outstanding beauty spots, with a deep wooded ravine about a mile in length and offers a dramatic and unforgettable walk beside the turbulent waters of the Lyd, with its boulders, dark pools, cascades and long rapids. On either side are huge oaks almost roof the gorge and wild garlic, lichens, moss and ferns carpet the sides. At its southerly end the Lyd is joined by a tributary at the spectacular 90ft White Lady Waterfall.
