Grounds are accessible on impacted gravel paths and smooth grass; gazebo area bumpy but accessible; shop accessible to wheelchairs via small step - assistance required.
Set among picturesque golden stone cottages, beside the handsome parish church of St Andrew, the Bede House was originally a medieval palace of the Bishops of Lincoln. It was later converted into an almshouse.
