URPoint Details
This small town with some charming half-timbered houses was once a busy staging post where the mail coach played a vital role. The 18th century bridge, which crosses the River Swift in a series of three arches. The church was restored in the 19th century, and the massive tower replaced the original spire. It also has some fine 15th century wall paintings.
