A pleasant and pretty village at the mouth of Glen Luss not far from Glasgow on the western shores of Loch Lomond and looking northwards to Ben Lomond at 3192ft.
From here you can 'Take the High Road to Loch Lomond', and see its Bonny Banks.
3 miles south is Rossdhu House the seat of the Colquhouns.
