Lundy Island, (NT) - Bristol Channel

Sea passages from Bideford all year round, also from Ilfracombe in summer season, by the island vessel ms "Oldenburg" (300 tons, 267 passengers and refreshments on board). Shop selling famous Lundy stamps souvenirs postcards general supplies and groceries.
An unspoilt island, with rocky headlands and fascinating animal and bird life. It is the ideal place to explore for a day trip, with no cars to disrupt the peace. The small island community includes a church, tavern and castle. There is a steep climb to the village from the landing beach.
