Bells made here have rung throughout the world since 1858 when the foundry of John Taylor moved here from Oxford.
There are some famous bells made here including Great Paul for St Paul’s cathedral in London.
In Queen’s Park is the 150ft Carillon Tower built in 1923 to commemorate the dead of the First World War.
There are many interesting buildings, some with bells, the tower of the church of All Saints has ten bells dedicated to the Taylor family.
