St Mary's Church is a 13th century Perpendicular church, which has remarkable expressions of the Arts and Crafts movement, in the paintings and metal frames of the reredos, and the stained glass crucifixion by Heywood Sumner, c1900. Vines are the preponderant decoration of the latter. There are 15th century brasses and a monument by Westmacott to William Bowles, d1801. Open daylight hours.
On 21 November 1966, the church was designated a Grade I listed building
