URPoint Details
Long Whatton is - as its name implies - a village with a main street stretching for about a mile.
Whatton Hall was built in 1802, burnt down and restored in 1876. In its grounds there is an interesting summer-house of tree bark with fluted Doric columns.
The village also contains two handsome 17th century brick houses and a lovely half-timbered cottage.
