A small burgh at the head of Loch Gilp an arm of Loch Fyne was formerly a herring port but is now a delightful holiday destination.
The region around here is steeped in history and was the home of the Scots of Caledonia in the early centuries with the capital being Dunadd.
There is sea, loch and river fishing, rough shooting, boating and bathing.
