URPoint Details
A reservoir in Easter Ross, 2 miles (4 km) northeast of Loch Glascarnoch. Built in 1957 as part of the second phase of the Conon Hydro-Electric Power Scheme.
It is retained by a substantial C-listed concrete dam, which is 257m (843 feet) in length and 37.5m (123 feet) in height. This was designed by James Shearer (1881-62) and George Annand (1914-64).
