URPoint Details
A small loch in the Grampian Mountains of Perth and Kinross, the border with Aberdeenshire, 10 miles (16 km) southwest of Braemar.
Despite sometimes being quoted as same, Loch Tilt is not the source of the River Tilt, although it is the source of Caochan Dubh Mor, which is a headstream of Allt Garbh Buidhe, which is in turn a tributary of the Tilt.
