URPoint Details
An interesting loch, an arm of the sea, and is 24 miles long running north from the Clyde and dividing Argyllshire from Dunbartonshire.
About halfway up the loch, Loch Goil branches off to the northwest.
At the mouth of the loch is Strone Point where the Holy Loch meets the Clyde estuary and extends into the Roseneath peninsula separating Loch Long from Gare Loch.
