URPoint Details
A shallow loch located 3 miles (5 km) southwest of Neilston and a quarter-mile (0.5) km north of Uplawmoor, on the opposite side of the A736 road from Barrhead to Irvine, Loch Libo on the westernedge of East Renfrewshire.
It is the source of the Lugton Water of North Ayrshire and owned by the Scottish Wildlife Trust, and is popular with bird-watchers, walkers and photographers.
