URPoint Details
A loch to the east of Glen Spean extends 7 miles (12 km) southwest from Kinloch Laggan. Loch Laggan serves a reservoir forming part of the Lochaber hydro-electric power scheme which powers the aluminium smelter at Fort William. The Laggan Dam was built at the western end of Loch Moy, also known as the Laggan Reservoir and sometimes considered an extension of Loch Laggan.
