A loch in Glen Quaich, 2 miles (3 km) west of Amulree at an altitude of 264m (867 feet) above sea-level.
Just over a mile in length, Loch Freuchie lies on the course of the River Quaich which rises to the northwest and flows out of the loch at its southeast end, eventually meeting the Cochill Burn to form the River Braan.
