URPoint Details
A small shallow loch in Fife, 2 miles (4 km) west of Cowdenbeath and 3 miles (5 km) northeast of Dunfermline.
It extends to 69 ha (170 acres) and is a noted centre for sports fishing, stocked with rainbow and brown trout, together with other species for the course angler.
St Ninian's open-cast coal mine lies to the north.
