URPoint Details
Lying on the northeast shore of Loch Eriboll a sheltered anchorage from storms in a rugged setting with a fine mountain background.
A little to the south is a ruined broch of Dun Dornagil by the loch side.
To the northwest on the road to Tongue is the head of Loch Hope at the southern end rises Ben Hope to 3,040ft.
A' chleit an uninhabited little islet in Loch Eriboll in the NW Highlands,and located just over a mile (2.5km) northeast of Portnancon. It is attached to the western shore of the loch by a shingle bar at low tide.
