A picturesque lochan in Faskally Wood between Loch Faskally and the A9 trunk road, Loch Dunmore is located 1¼ miles (2 km) northwest of Pitlochry. Once associated with Faskally House, the loch is now at the centre of a network of woodland walks and has been the focus for the Enchanted Forest sound and light experience.
