Dhu, Loch (Dhu Loch Reservoir) A small reservoir with an earth embankment dam on the Isle of Bute, a half-mile (1 km) west of Loch Fad and 2½ miles (4 km) southwest of Rothesay. It is operated by Scottish Water for the supply of drinking-water and covers an area of 9.3 ha (22 acres). The loch supports a recreational fishery for pike, perch and roach.
