URPoint Details
A small reservoir in the Badenoch district at the head of Glen Shirra, 5 miles (8km) west southwest of Laggan.
It represents part of the Lochaber Hydro-Electric Scheme, receiving water from the Spey Reservoir a mile (1.5 km) to the east by a canal and channelling this south southwest through a tunnel to Loch Laggan.
