Dating from the late Neolithic and early Bronze Age, this large tomb is capped by a massive stone 18ft 5½m) long by 15ft (4½m) weighs and weighs about 28 tons and one of the largest in Britain.
Bones of adults, children and animals were discovered in 1908.
