The village is beautifully situated in a glen near the river East Cleddau above Haverfordwest.
The church is partly Norman and has a curious double tower and a worn Celtic cross.
The Castle Palace dates from 14th century and once belonged to one of the bishop’s from St Davids, is moated and has a fine gatehouse.
