There are considerable remains of a part Norman and Early English priory situated in a lovely setting on the Honddu River in the Vale of Ewyas and Brecon Beacon National Park.
To the northwest At Capel-y-ffin, is Llanthony Monastery, founded in 1870 and partly in ruins.
