Close to the River Ithon is the village church rebuilt, but still with its original east window, remnants of its rood screen and an altar rail of 1716.
This lovely spot was once an isolated mountain village, and retains some of this character, but its location on the main Llandrindod Wells to Newtown road has resulted in development. The road supposedly had 365 bends –one for every day of the year!
During late summer an important cattle sale is still held here.
