URPoint Details
One of the longest and narrowest parishes in Northamptonshire.
The most notable feature of its Church of St Mary is the south doorway dating from about 1190. Unfortunately the tower was demolished in 1967 for safety reasons, but a new bell-turret houses one of the original four bells.
Its Country Primary School was established well over three centuries ago, and local industries and crafts still flourishing today, include a foundry and shoe factory.
