A late 15th century, perhaps originally a hall house, although greatly altered in the 17th century, most of its features date from this period. The gabled stone building with mullioned windows and two storey porch attached cross wing and later rear wing of 1 and a half storeys. Restored by E Doran Webb in 1901 and given to the Trust by Mrs Engelheart in 1940.
