A Wealden village with buildings dating from the 15th century and some lovely old houses, an unusual stone lock-up built of the 18th century and a Collegiate Church dating mainly from the 15th century.
The 15th century Church of St Peter and St Paul has some earlier work in the southwest of the building. There are some interesting features including the font, screen and lectern complete with chained Bible.
