URPoint Details
Holy Trinity Church dates from 1841, when Lew began its century of existence as an independent parish, separated from Bampton. It is a small and simple rectangular building with a south porch surmounted by an unusual octagonal spire, perhaps copied from Cogges. The churchyard is entered from the A4097 through a handsome lychgate. The building is usually locked, but the key may be obtained at Churchgate Cottage on the opposite side of the road.
