URPoint Details
The Church of St Peter & St Paul is a splendid building with a great square buttressed 141ft tower, and is reputed to be one of the finest in the country. The church bells are also renowned for the tenor bell made in 1625 famous for its perfect tone. In the chancel which has misericords decorated with fantastic medieval imagery. The Spring and Branch Chapels have richly carved screens.
