URPoint Details
On a hill above the church stands a detached tower in which the church bells formerly hung. Near the Post Office is a large ancient Standing Stone. The moorland road which links Latherton to Thurso was built in the 18th century and there are numerous hut circles and Pictish remains. To the northeast of the village is the ruined Forse Castle and further inland are some very early stone structures known as the Wag.
