A mid-18th century style of garden known as a ferne ornee. This unique ornamental farm is a link in Irish landscape gardening between the formal garden and the landscaped park. There are 10 follies situated along the circular walk through the beech avenues set in this 26 hectare park. The scenic walk links the classical and Gothic castellated follies with fabulous views to the Wicklow Mountains. There is a lake with an island fortress for children and circular Greek temple. The parkland is stocked with rare and exotic breeds of domestic farm animals.
