URPoint Details
The magnificent Church of St Mary has a fine Norman arch above which is a splendid wooden roof carved with angels. More fine carving can be seen on the benches in the nave and in the 15th century octagonal pulpit. The many wall paintings include St Edmund, St John and scenes from the life of Christ.
There are some fine monuments inside the church.
