URPoint Details
Leindune (Laindon took its name from a stream called the Lyge) rising near the church of St Nicholas.
The church of St Nicholas has a timber belfry and some lovely timber work inside.
Between the two stood Leam (Westle and Estle) held by the canons of St Pauls. Records are confusing as in 1432 Estle was combined with Laindon and Westle with Langdon.
