URPoint Details
Situated on the banks of the River Tweed where on the other side in Northumbria is the ruined Norham Castle.
The picturesque cruciform church dates from 1500 but the tower added in 1743 is thought to be William Adam. The entire stone building is said to have been erected by James IV as an offering from his drowning in the river nearby.
